5K Run/Walk

The third Annual Teaghlaigh 5K Run/Walk will be held on May 4, 2013 at Eastwood MetroPark at 9:30 a.m. Starting at Eastwood MetroPark (1385 Harshman Road, Dayton OH), the 3.1 mile course leads participants along the Mad River on the Mad River Recreational Trail and back to Eastwood MetroPark. Runners and walkers will be met with complimentary food and drink, an awards presentation to the top male and female participants as well as the top participants by age group, and live entertainment by the Celtic Academy of Irish Dance. The goal of the Teaghlaigh 5K is simple: to support the Celtic Academy of Irish dance and invite you to become part of our teaghlaigh (family). Our motto is to "dance like champions, love like family," and we invite you to help us achieve that goal. You can be part of the Teaghlaigh 5K in a variety of ways. Whether you run, walk, or volunteer on race day, or if you make a donation or help us find a sponsor, you are helping support the Celtic Academy teaghlaigh (family).

Register to Run or Walk
Online registration is simple and easy. You can register online at www.speedy-feet.com/race-entry.php?id=793 or download and complete our mail-in 2013 Registration Form . Everyone who pre-registers by April 12, 2013 receives a free t-shirt. Registration is also available on race day starting at 8:30 a.m.

Sponsorship Opportunities
